BIPOLAR TMS STIMULATION
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for bipolar depression typically involves targeting the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC). This can be achieved by stimulating the left DLPFC, inhibiting the right DLPFC, or a combination of both approaches. Research suggests that bilateral stimulation of the DLPFC can lead to improvements in verbal memory and executive functions in patients with bipolar depression.
